Perfection of Production
"Helen Chatterton is a designer/maker based in Liverpool. She makes luxury cushions and scarves in a luscious range of colours.
Perfection of Production, was formed in October 2004, resulting in commissions after Helen had completed her City and Guild in Creative Studies at Huddersfield Technical College.
Her velvet cushions are hand-crafted from dress velvet, stitched with a unique pattern (registered design), producing an amazing range of colours with a lustrous finish. She launched a silk-dupion collection in April 2006 and a highly acclaimed tweed/velvet collection in September 2006. The tweed/velvet cushions were highly commended by the Gift Association in their Gift of the Year 2007. She also makes scarves and stoles in velvet, silk and tweed.
Her work is available in shops and galleries nationwide, including the Bluecoat Display Centre in Liverpool. Helen continues to make beautiful and useful items which she hopes will give the users pleasure for years to come."
