Formation is dedicated to realizing the work of talented designers, such as Maria Holmer Dahlgren, on a variety of home accessories and gifts.
Maria Holmer Dahlgren fuses her interest in travelling with her passion for graphic design in her collections such as 'London' and 'Alpha Britannia', which are designed as a response to tacky souvenirs and cheap, throwaway design. It began when we fell in love with Maria's 'Stockholm' tray and knew we'd love to work with her on a London one. Three years later, we now have a vibrant 'London' range, as well as 'Alpha Britannia' and many more collections in the pipeline.
Products developed by Formation reflect our commitment to good design, craftsmanship and provenance. We produce in England wherever we can, but also utilise Swedish expertise and craftsmanship when it comes to our hand-pressed birch plywood trays and our compostable cellulose dishcloths. We select our manufacturing partners based on their commitment to quality, the environment, and the reliable service they offer us and our customers. We also collaborate with clients wishing to commission a product or range.
