Farah Qureshi designs and makes contemporary ranges of jewellery in precious metals and has exhibited her work at London Jewellery Week and International Jewellery London. Farah's jewellery has been sold through outlets across the United Kingdom and currently works from Craft Central in Clerkenwell where she develops her new work. The inspiration for the jewellery comes from a variety of different sources, travels to Asia and Australia; visits to botanical gardens, fashion, photography and also found objects.
A recent departure in the jewellery produced has been the introduction of eighteen carat gold combined with colourful gem stones. This adds a new dimension to the collections: which comprise of a broad range of items such as silver bejewelled tiara's through to earrings and pendants embellished with etched patterns.
Commissions are welcome for wedding and engagement rings and pieces can be created for special occassions.
